Kuala Lumpur, 1 October 2026 – MSI today announced the availability of the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition in Malaysia. A distinctive white gaming laptop made for players who want powerful performance, immersive visuals and a bold design identity, it introduces Malaysian gamers to LOONG:NIA, also known as MLG, a dragon-inspired original character whose story is built on courage, creativity and the determination to overcome limits.

Raised in the noble lineage of the Ancient Dragons, LOONG dreamed of becoming a Wingborne Watcher, a guardian who protects and guides dragonkind. Born without wings, she turned her talent for mechanical design into a pair of her own, becoming a night-sky guardian who symbolises self-made power and fearless ambition. The Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition brings this story into the product itself, pairing MSI's gaming DNA with a pearl-like Stellar White finish, custom MLG design elements and exclusive bundled accessories.

Top-tier Performance with 16-core CPU & Full-powered GPU

Built for high-performance gaming and next-generation AI experiences, the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 12GB GDDR7 memory. MSI OverBoost Technology enables up to 190W of total CPU and GPU power, while the Cooler Boost system, with dual fans, five heat pipes and a quad-exhaust heatsink design, keeps performance stable under heavy workloads.

“Malaysian gamers want a laptop that performs at the highest level, but increasingly they want one with personality too. The Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition delivers both: up to a Ryzen 9 8940HX and RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, a 240Hz QHD+ display, and a Stellar White design inspired by LOONG:NIA’s story of building your own wings. We’re excited to bring this edition, together with its exclusive MLG premium pack, to our local gaming community,” said Chris Liao, Notebook Marketing Manager at MSI Malaysia.

“The Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition reflects MSI’s commitment to delivering performance with personality,” said Derek Chen, Vice President of MSI NB Sales & Marketing. “By combining powerful hardware, intelligent optimisation, advanced cooling and a unique character-inspired design, this model gives gamers a laptop that performs at a high level while standing out from the crowd.”
