[Taipei, Taiwan] 2018 IEM (Intel® Extreme Masters) took place in Katowice, Poland. Featuring StarCraft II, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) with an aggregate prize pool of over $950,000. The eyes of the world were on annual IEM competition to witness who could win the victory goddess smile.

In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) competition, after the stuggling 6 days competition, Fnatic cracked forces as Heroic, G2 Esports, Team Liquid and FaZe Clan. Fnatic with excellent skill and strong capacity took down FaZe twice. In the best of five game, both team fought to the very last second. Fortune smiled on Fnatic at last, Fnatic defeated FaZe by 3: 2 in the final round and carried off the champion trophy and $250,000 from IEM 2018.
